Who we are

I am a Franchisee who invested in a Franchise called FiltaCool (UK) Ltd, which was part of a group, based on information provided to me, and have subsequently lost my whole investment, and been left with a lease car to pay for until March 2014.

I considered myself an intelligent, business minded, person, but it seems my due diligence was not sufficient - so I want to help other potential Franchisee's avoid the mistakes I made.

Why did I fail?

There are some that say franchisee's who fail just don't work hard enough at the business. If I was alone in failing perhaps this could be valid, but the majority of the UK based franchisee's for FiltaCool (UK) Ltd were unable to develop a sustainable business.

Update October 2011 - There are noises in the market that another Franchise owned by the same group who set up FiltaCool (UK) Ltd is not proving as good as the suggested business plan - people dropping out - and going broke! More to come if I get definite information.
